ROAD TRIP!

Even though this is a ROAD TRIP!, it is starting, as many trips do, much too early at LaGuardia airport.  We left home at 3:30am (which is VERY early), which means we made it to the airport in just under 45 minutes and that we are- surprise! - very early for our flight.

Flying to Santa Fe, NM, for Joe’s mini college reunion (celebrating the fact that they are all turning 65 this year).  Now, you will say - Joe went to college in New Hampshire, and that’s very far from New Mexico.  True!  But apparently, alumni on the West coast are tired of travelling to NH, and it was decided to try something new.

So, off to Santa Fe we are!

From there, we will drive north for over 1000 miles, to Yellowstone National park, stopping at a lot of national parks on the way, including Mesa Verde, Rocky Mountain and Grand Teton.  

But first, a couple of hours wait at LGA, drinking more coffee!
